How to apply
All Master’s programmes are carried out at SDC, at Yanqihu campus north of Beijing, and students must (as the general rule) be in China for the entire duration of their studies.
You apply for admission through the Danish University and if accepted, you will be enrolled at the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (UCAS) in China. All admission documents to you will be issued by UCAS and you will not receive an admission letter from the Danish university.
Chinese citizens (including citizens from Hong Kong, Taiwan and Macao) must apply through the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences.
Admission Requirements
- have a relevant bachelor’s degree equivalent to a Danish Bachelor’s degree.
- fulfil the English language requirements equivalent to English B level (Danish upper secondary school level).
- fulfil the specific requirements for the programme.
All the programmes have a limited number of places. If there are more qualified applicants than places available at a programme, applicants will be selected according to the selec-tion criteria for each programme.

Application deadline - full degrees
Application deadline for commencement in September 2025 is
1 March 2025 for DK/EEA and Non-EU.
You will have an answer to your application at the end of March 2025.
Tuition Fee, SU and Grants
Semester studies
Danish and EU/EEA-students who are enrolled in a master’s degree at a Danish university can join SDC as a semester student in China.
