What do Danish companies think of doing business in China?

22 April 2022

The Danish business community expects to invest in China in 2022, even though the short term business outlook on China is deteriorating.

This is one of the conclusions from the latest release of the quarterly index, and it shows a noticeable difference in outlook depending on where the respondents are based. Respondents based in China have a significantly deteriorated outlook while respondents based in Denmark report an improved outlook.

The DBOC Index was established in January 2021 to track changes in outlook of Danish companies with activities in China.

The index is a joint initiative of the Embassy of the Kingdom of Denmark in Beijing (Denmark in China), DCCC - Danish Chamber of Commerce in China, Danish-Chinese Business Forum and SDC.
