Dana Minbaeva Joins the Danish Board of SDC
Dana Minbaeva joins the Danish Board of SDC to represent Copenhagen Business School (CBS) where she is Professor at the Department of Strategy and Innovation, and Vice-president for International Affairs.
‘Since I became Vice-president for International Affairs at CBS in January 2018, I have followed all SDC activities in relation to CBS very closely. There are so many success stories from SDC and things are going very well. It is always difficult to go from good to great. But if we continue to improve and re-think strategies, I believe we will get there. This is one of the ambitions I bring to the board.’
Dana Minbaeva is a Professor in Strategic and Global Human Resource Management and has done research on multinational corporations. She is particularly interested in management research in context to emerging economies:
‘As an emerging economy, China is still unexplored in the field of International Human Resource Management. I have a few publications within the subject that include Chinese companies, and with China’s growing international position in innovation and technology, I see it as a continuing relevant subject.’
Besides her experience as a well-published researcher, Dana Minbaeva also brings experience from several international boards in academic organisations.
‘I feel extremely honored to share my broad experience with the SDC board, which is a very qualified team where I already look forward to interdisciplinary perspectives and discussions.’
In January 2020, Dana Minbaeva replaced Kjeld Erik Brødsgaard as CBS’ representative in the Danish Board of SDC. View Dana Minbaeva’s profile at CBS here.
