Celebrating 10 years of unique collaboration

25 November 2020

In December Sino-Danish Center for Education and Research (SDC) celebrates its 10th anniversary by launching the most extensive interdisciplinary research publication to come out of the partnership to date – The SDC International Report 2020: Cooperating for Energy Transition.

The event will comprise a celebration of SDC arriving at this 10 year milestone followed by a symposium addressing the various topics presented in the SDC International Report 2020. The programme includes introductory remarks, a panel discussion on energy research as the stepping-stone for the green transition, and three parallel breakout sessions with insights from the report: Technology perspectives, Providing clean energy to cities, and Innovating the future of green transition.

I am delighted that this report on energy and policy is published now, because it is a vastly important topic on the global agenda that we need to deal with together. The fact that the report includes 17 peer reviewed articles co-authored by Danish and Chinese researchers across different scientific fields is a significant achievement and a great example of how Danish and Chinese researchers benefit from working closer together”, Morten Laugesen, Executive Director of SDC says.

The event will take place both offline and online. Those who are in China can join the event at SDC in Huairou and those who are in Denmark can join via ZOOM.

Date: 11 December, 16.00-20.30 CN time, 09:00-12:30 DK time.

Join the event in the House of the Danish Industry Foundation, Beijing, Huairou – or online.
